PhD. in chemistry from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, England. He has been an active member in scientific organizations such as EXPO & CONFERENCE, Foundation Ecuador, INAGROFA SAC, among several others. He has used his professional experience within companies of high national and international recognition such as TECNIQUIMICA, EMETEL and WESCO PAINTS.

He, in turn, has made recognized publications such as Notes on Modernity; Humanism, Science and Technology; Anticorrosive Protection in the Marine Environment, and more. It has been a columnist in weekly columns published in the main newspapers and magazines specialized throughout Ecuador; producing comments on production, modernization, sustainable production, energy, biofuels, globalization, innovation and education.
